Beauty does not have to be complicated. Hongo brings together mushrooms, botanicals, and traditional ingredients in three purposeful products for cleansing, toning, and moisturizing.

Reishi, tremella, and shiitake are at the heart of our formulas. Carefully selected botanical oils and rich emollients, including Adeps Bovis (bovine oil, also known as tallow) and Adeps Suillus (porcine oil), complete our face cream and cleansing oil.

We source bovine oil (tallow) from grass-fed, grass-finished cattle and porcine oil from pasture-raised swine through small local farms using regenerative practices.

We make every product in small batches and explain what goes into it so you can choose what feels right for your skin, your routine, and your values.

Our face cream jars are made from recycled glass, and we choose recycled glass elsewhere whenever possible. We also make our own apple cider vinegar when the season allows.
