Can people with sensitive skin use these products?

Every skin is different. Review the ingredients and patch test before using a new product broadly. Our face cream and cleansing oil contain essential oils; the cleansing oil also contains sweet almond oil. Stop use if irritation occurs.

How do I choose what is right for my skin?

Choose according to your skin's needs and ingredient sensitivities. Start with a small amount and patch test first. The face cream is rich and concentrated; the toner is a lightweight botanical mist.

How often should I use the products?

Use morning and evening as needed: cleanse, apply toner, then press a small amount of face cream into slightly damp skin. Adjust the amount and frequency to your skin.

Will these products clog my pores?

Skin responds differently to each formula. Start with a small amount and observe how your skin feels. We do not promise that a product will never clog pores.

Do your products contain essential oils?

Our face cream and cleansing oil include aromatic essential oils. The toner uses botanical ingredients including rose water and chamomile. Check each product's ingredient list if you have sensitivities.

When will my order ship?

Orders are dispatched within 5–7 days of purchase. Carrier delivery time is additional and depends on the shipping service and destination.

Who pays return postage?

INGREDIENTS

Which mushrooms are in the routine?

Reishi appears in all three products. Tremella is paired with reishi in the cleansing oil and toner; shiitake joins reishi in the face cream. Mushrooms are the foundation of our simple cleansing, toning, and moisturizing ritual.

Why does my cream feel firmer in cool weather?

The cream's rich oils and butter can firm up in cooler temperatures. Warm a small amount between your fingertips before applying. Contact us if you notice an unexpected change in smell or appearance.

What are bovine and porcine oils?

Bovine oil, also known as tallow, is derived from cattle. Porcine oil is derived from swine. We use these traditional emollients in our face cream and cleansing oil to soften skin and help seal in moisture. Our bovine oil comes from grass-fed, grass-finished cattle; our porcine oil comes from pasture-raised swine.

How are the mushroom extracts prepared?

Our mushroom extracts are prepared using a double-extraction process with water and alcohol. We do not add alcohol separately when blending the finished product; any residual alcohol comes from the mushroom extracts. Our chamomile extract contains glycerin and no alcohol.

Are your products vegan?

Our face cream and cleansing oil are not vegan: they contain bovine and porcine oils. We identify their sources so you can choose products that fit your values.

Are there any artificial fragrances or colors?

We do not add artificial fragrances or colors. Our face cream and cleansing oil contain aromatic essential oils, and our toner includes botanicals such as rose water.

SUSTAINABILITY

How do you choose your suppliers?

We prioritize women-owned and small local businesses whenever possible. Our bovine and porcine oils come from small local farms using regenerative practices. We choose recycled glass wherever possible, including our face cream jars.

Do you make any ingredients yourselves?

We make our own apple cider vinegar when the season allows. Our other ingredients come from carefully selected suppliers.
